This is a beautiful antique Georgian sterling silver teapot measuring 11″ (28 cms) from handle to spout x 4 3/4″ (12 cms) x 6 3/4″ (17 cms) to the top of the finial.
It’s hallmarked for Dublin 1810 with the silversmiths mark for James La Bas who was warden of the Dublin Goldsmiths Company from 1833 to 1838.
It’s in excellent condition with a bird crest engraved on one side and the initial ‘D’ on the other.
It weighs 675 grams.
