Antique Georgian solid sterling silver christening mug/tankard with a beautiful entwined serpent handle and a decoration of flowers around the centre.
It’s hallmarked for London 1822 and has the makers mark for James Barratt.
It measures 3 1/2″ (9 cms) tall x 2 3/4″ (7 cms) across the top and weighs 99.5 grams.
The condition is superb with no damage and this is a lovely mug that would make a perfect christening or new baby gift.
