Pair of antique Georgian sterling silver candlesticks measuring 12 1/2” (32 cms) high x 6 1/2″ (16.5 cms) across the bases.
Both candlesticks and one sconce are hallmarked for Sheffield 1826 with the silversmiths mark for Fenton, Allanson & Machon of Norfolk St.Sheffield and the other sconce is marked for Sheffield 1818 with the silversmiths mark for John Watson of Burgess St, Sheffield.
The condition is excellent with no damage at all apart from a couple of tiny dints around the edge of the bases – they are a super style with lovely decoration.
They have filled bases and they weigh a total of 3110 grams and are a super bold chunky pair of candlesticks which are very impressive.
