Set of 3 Antique Sterling Silver & Glass Whisky Noggins / Jugs 1936
Hallmarked for Birmingham 1934, 1935 & 1936 with the silversmiths mark for S. Blanckensee & Sons Ltd.
This is super set of three antique silver and glass whisky noggins/jugs each with a curved handle and silver collar with thumb rest for opening the lid.
They are conical in shape and have a cut glass star on the base.
They have matching silversmiths marks for S. Blanckensee & Sons and are hallmarked for Birmingham 1934, 1935 & 1936.
These jugs are usually Scottish in origin and are used for serving individual portions of whisky equivalent to a gill.
All are in excellent condition and are perfectly usable today.
Each one measures 3 1/2″ (9 cms) tall x 2 1/2″ (6.5 cms) across the base.
