This is a super antique early Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette hallmarked for Birmingham 1842 with the silversmiths mark for Edward Smith.
It measures 1 1/4″ (3 cms) across x 3/4″ (2 cms) and is in very good condition with no damage at all.
It has a hinged lid which opens to reveal the beautiful silver gilt grille and it weighs 17 grams.
It has the name ‘Anna’ engraved on the lid .
