Description

Antique Victorian sterling silver double photo frame measuring 8 1/4″ (21 cms) x 6 1/4″ (16 cms) with each opening measuring 5 1/4″ (13.5 cms) x 3 1/4″ (8.5 cms).

It’s hallmarked for London 1898 with the silversmiths mark for James Samuel Bell and Louis Willmott who were top class manufacturing silversmiths of 4, Berners Mews, Oxford St, London – it also shows the retailers mark for Jones, 41, St.James St, London.

It’s in super condition with no damage. On the front there is a coronet / crown with the letter ‘S’ engraved underneath and there is also a holder but I’m not sure what it’s for – possibly a flower.

It has a dark blue velvet backstand which has some minor wear but still works well.
