This is a superb antique sterling silver teapot measuring 9 1/2″ (24 cms) from handle to spout x 6″ (15 cms) x 8″ (20 cms) to the top of the finial with a 2 pint capacity.
It’s hallmarked for London 1847 with the silversmiths mark for Edward, John & William Barnard.
It’s in excellent condition with beautiful decoration and is particularly nice as it has a figural sitting Chinese man on the top.
It weighs 739 grams and is perfectly usable.
