Antique hallmarked sterling silver three piece teaset comprising of a teapot, sugar bowl and jug.
All three items are hallmarked for Sheffield 1904 with the silversmiths mark for Robert Stewart and they’re all marked underneath ‘R.Stewart, Glasgow’.
The teapot measures 11″ (28 cms) across including the handle x 4 3/4″ (12 cms) x 5 1/2″ (14 cms) tall to the top of the lid, the jug is 5 1/2″ (14 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 3 1/2″ (9 cms) tall to the top of the spout and the sugar bowl is 7″ (18 cms) across including the handles x 3 1/4″ (8 cms) high to the rim.
All three items are in excellent condition with no dings or dents and all three have a beautiful pierced rim .
They weigh a total of 1192 grams which gives you an idea of the quality and the teapot has a 1 3/4″ pint capacity.
This is a gorgeous set in superb condition and would make a great addition to any collection.
