Antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver tray measuring 8 1/4” (21 cms) across.
It’s hallmarked for London 1881 with the silversmiths mark for John Batson.
It’s in excellent condition with a super engraved decoration and an inscription on the front that reads ‘Presented to Rev.T.Secker and Mrs Secker, on the occasion of their marriage by the congregation of St Peters, Bishop Wearmouth, May, 1883’.
It sits on three ball and claw feet and weighs 322.6 grams.
