This is a superb antique Victorian sterling silver christening mug/tankard measuring 4" (10 cms) tall x 3" (7.5 cms) across the top and hallmarked for London 1850 with the silversmiths mark for George Angell.
The mug is decorated around the country scenes of cows and sheep, a shepherd and a lady carrying a milk pail.
The whole item is in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) and is gilded inside.
There are no initials or monograms and it weighs 148.2 grams/4.7 troy oz.
