This is a beautiful antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver desk top inkstand with a cut glass & silver inkwell.
It measures 9" (23 cms) across x 6 1/2 (16.5 cms) x 4" (10 cms) high to the top of the inkwell.
It's in excellent condition with no damage with the stand hallmarked for London 1894 and the inkwell hallmarked for London 1892 with the silversmiths marks for William Comyns.
The stand has beautiful pierced decoration of cherubs and birds with no inscriptions or monograms - the inkwell sits on top with space at the front for your pen.
The stand without the inkwell weighs 384 grams/12.3 troy oz and this item will come with a certificate of authenticity
