This is a super antique mid Victorian sterling silver christening mug/tankard measuring 3 3/4" (9.5 cms) tall x 2 1/2 (6.5 cms) across the top. 

It's hallmarked for London 1869 with the silversmiths mark for Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall. 

The mug is decorated with Roman/Greek goddess style engraving on each side with a blank cartouche on the front. 

The whole item is in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections), is gilded inside and weighs 125 grams/4 troy oz. 

This mug will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
