This is a super antique Edwardian hallmarked solid sterling silver card case in very good condition with no damage at all.

It’s hallmarked for Birmingham 1908 with the silversmiths mark for William M. Hayes, measures 3 3/4″ (9.5 cms) x 2 3/4″ (7 cms) and weighs 72.8 grams.

The front of the case has a tavern dancing scene in relief which is marked underneath ‘Holy Freres’ which was a Swiss firm established by Franz Holy and Jules Holy – this firm was active from 1903 – 1911 in making small plaques and medals.
