This is a super antique hallmarked solid sterling silver cigarette box measuring 5 1/4″ (13.5 cms) across x 4 1/4″ (11 cms) x 2 1/2″ (6 cms) high.
It’s hallmarked for Sheffield 1940 with the silversmiths mark for Walker & Hall and is also marked underneath ‘Walker & Hall, Sheffield.
The silver is in very good condition with no damage.
Although this box would have originally been made to take cigarettes it would also make a great trinket or desk top box.
