This is a beautiful antique sterling silver and tortoiseshell trinket box measuring 5 1/4″ (13.5 cms) across x 3 1/2″ (9 cms) x 2″ (5 cms) high and hallmarked for Birmingham 1919 with the silversmiths mark for W. G. Sothers & Co.
Inside is lined in a blue silk material which is all in excellent condition and perfectly usable.
The tortoiseshell lid has super colour and has lovely silver pique decoration.
