This is a beautiful Victorian oak & pierced brass letter rack dating from c1880.
It measures 10" (25 cms) wide x 3 1/2" (9 cms) deep and 6" (15 cms) high and is in super condition for its age.
As well as the two rows of decorative pierced brass along the edges it also has two engraved brass plaques to the front - one saying 'Answered' and the other 'Unanswered'.
