This is a super antique Victorian oak and silver plated tankard dating to around the 1880’s.
It measures 6″ (15 cms) tall x 3 1/4″ (8 cms) across the top x 4 1/4″ (11 cms) across the bottom.
It has four silver plated bands around the tankard and a shield shape cartouche on the front which has no inscriptions or monograms.
There is a lovely glow to the wood, great condition, clean and crisp and absolutely ready to use.
