Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 12″ Tray /Salver 18627661
This is a super antique Victorian sterling silver tray/salver measuring 12″ (30 cms) across and clearly hallmarked for London 1862 with the silversmiths mark for Edward & John Barnard and the retailers mark for M.Brook, Poultry.
It has a beautiful bold rim with a crest in the centre of griffins around a thistle and the motto ‘Aperte’ which means ‘Openly’.
It weighs 830.4 grams which gives you some idea of the quality and is in excellent condition.
