This is a beautiful antique Victorian sterling silver dish/basket measuring 8 3/4″ (22.5 cms) across x 2 3/4″ (7 cms) high to the rim and 7 1/2″ (19 cms) high to the top of the handle when it’s up.
It weighs 635.2 grams and is hallmarked for Sheffield 1856 with the silversmiths mark for Henry Wilkinson & Co.
It has beautiful pierced decoration around the rim with lovely engraved decoration in the base and there are no monograms or inscriptions.
