This is a superb antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 3" (8 cms) x just over 1 1/4" (3.5 cms) x 3/4" (2 cms) high.
It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in very good condition and gilded inside.
It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1856 with the silversmiths mark for Owen & Boon.
It weighs 60 grams and the whole item is in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms.
