This is a stunning antique Victorian hallmarked sterling silver teapot weighing 934.8 grams/30 troy oz and measuring 9 1/2" (24 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 9 1/2" (24 cms) tall top the top of the finial.
It's hallmarked for London 1871 with the silversmiths mark for Richard Martin & Ebenezer Hall.
The pot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and holds 2 3/4 pints.
It has fabulous decoration of Hannibal with his elephant and soldiers and has a centurion helmet finial.
It is in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections).
