This is a super antique William IV hallmarked sterling silver christening mug/tankard measuring 3 1/2" (9 cms) tall x 3" (7.5 cms) across the top.
It’s hallmarked for London 1833 with the silversmiths mark for Edward, Edward Jr, John & William Barnard.
The whole mug is in very good condition with a lovely bold decoration of oak leaves and acorns.
There is a shield on the front and there are no initials or monograms - it weighs 160 grams.
