This is a stunning antique William IV sterling silver 2 handle presentation cup and cover hallmarked for London 1833 with the silversmiths mark for Charles Reily & George Storer.
It measures 11 3/4″ (30 cms) tall to the top of the lid x 8 1/4″ (21 cms) across including the handles x 7 1/2″ (19 cms).
It’s in excellent condition with an armorial crest on one side with the motto ‘Fortune de Guerre’ meaning The Fortune of War.
It has a superb bold decoration of leaves and flowers and is very heavy weighing 1419.3 grams.
