This is a superb antique William IV hallmarked sterling silver teapot weighing 913 grams and measuring 11″ (28 cms) across from handle to tip of spout x 6 1/4″ (16 cms) tall to the top of the handle and in excellent condition – any marks you can see are just reflections.
It’s hallmarked for London 1834 with the silversmiths mark for William Bateman ll.
his lovely teapot is nice and clean inside making it perfectly usable and just holds 2 1/2 pints.
It has beautiful decoration with a pretty flower finial and there are no inscriptions or monograms.
Excellent condition, no repairs or damage and perfectly usable.
