This is a very impressive antique William IV sterling silver tray measuring 12 1/2″ (32 cms) across and clearly hallmarked for London 1831 with the silversmiths mark for J. Whitehouse.
It has a beautiful bold rim with super engraved deoration and a lion crest in the centre.
It’s very heavy weighing 1050 grams which gives you some idea of the quality and is in excellent condition.
