This is a super pair of antique Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver shell style butter dishes with knives in their original presentation case.
The dishes each measure 4 3/4" (12 cms) long x 4" (10 cms) across and the knives are 5 1/2" (14 cms) long.
The dishes and knives together weigh 172 grams/5.5 troy oz the lot and everything is in excellent condition.
All items have matching silversmiths marks for Horace Woodward & Co with the dishes hallmarked for London 1905 and the knives London 1904 - the inside of the case also shows the retailers mark for Manoah Rhodes & Sons of Bradford.
These dishes will come with a certificate of authenticity.
